Family Session

Yesterday, I photographed Krystal's family. She is one of my past brides. It was sweltering hot!! I joked with her that she picked a good time to do the session!! Right at the end of the session, it started raining!! The shot with just the 5 of them has rain coming down!! I totally did not mind the rain!! It felt good and was a nice relief from the heat!
Anyways, on to my faves!

Windsor's Family Session

This morning, I headed to Lake Norman to do some family & 1-year-old pics!! Little Alex was so sleepy, but we still got some great shots. She was also having a birthday party today, so I had to get pics of her with her cake! Her cake was totally rockin'!! It was shaped like a guitar!

She absolutely loved the balloons. We took it away from her for a minute and she got very upset! :)

Kimberly's Bridal Session

I photographed Kimberly yesterday in the hot 100 degree temperature. She looked absolutely amazing--completely flawless!! You couldn't tell by looking at her that she was dying in the heat! Lotion on your legs isn't the greatest thing when your outside in these temperatures! ;-) You should have seen me though! LOL Gross! I had such a hard time picking out a few pics for the blog! They were all so great!!
P.S. I love all my brides that let me post their pics on the blog before the wedding!!! You girls rock!!

Amanda & Jonathan's Wedding August 19, 2007

Sunday, I photographed Amanda & Jonathan's wedding. It was so hot!!! We were laughing about how every session we've done has been crazy hot. I did their engagement session in December and it was honestly like 80 degrees!! Other than the heat, the day went really well and we got some awesome pics! I have really loved working with them b/c they are so happy and in love. I asked Amanda if she was going to cry and she told me no, she didn't think so!! I think she was wrong! I swear she cried like 3 times!! Awww!

The girls were doing anything to get a bit cooled off. There were some vents and they said cool air was coming out of it! I thought this was a funny pic!


They saw each other before the wedding. I thought this was a sweet moment!

I was looking through the pics that were taken at yesterday's wedding by mom and came across some funny pics....funny to me at least. I looked at this thinking how did she do that? There are two of me. When I start deleting pics, I look at each pic for about 1-2 seconds before moving to the next. Well, when looking a these, I just saw 2 blonde ponytails and was like whoa--2 of me! Only, it was actually a groomsman w/ my same hairdo! How funny!! I cropped these so you can see them better. (my hair needs brushing!!)

Susan's Family Session

Saturday, I went to Lake Norman and photographed Susan's family at her home. We got a lot of great shots!

The girls were cute! They weren't much into holding hands, but they did it! That reminded me of my sister & me back in the day!!

Chip wanted a picture of him with his dog. He said he had a pic like this before and wanted another one. I decided I would give it an old school feel, instead of having all the greenery showing.

Wedding High Resolution Files

If anyones is interested in purchasing their high resolution files from their wedding, engagement or bridal session, they are for sale. Weddings are $500, engagements $250 and bridals $250.
This is an example of the finished product. I was at the post office about to ship this and realized I should have taken some pics!! Thankfully, I had the iPhone!! This little camera phone does a pretty good job of taking pics!! One thing I have noticed is that it will look centered on the display, but when it takes the picture it comes out uncentered! Oh well!! I guess I just need to make note of which way I need to move the phone to correct this!

New portrait site is live!!!

I finished my portrait site last night! I'm so proud of myself for finally getting it finished!! I still have more kid pics to add to the galleries....and of course I still have more wedding images to add the wedding site!! These things take some time though!!

Amanda & Josh's Wedding August 12, 2007

I photographed Amanda & Josh's wedding yesterday. Her wedding was absolutely amazing and no details were forgotten. Amanda also decided not to have a cake, but instead had a dessert table which included chocolate turtle cake, raspberry cheesecake and Key Lime pie.
