Hillary Clinton in Concord

Tuesday, my sister and I went to see Hillary in Concord. My friend Kennie emailed me that morning where she was going to be all day and we decided we would go and see her in Concord. I love stalking celebs! LOL Although, I can't lie, I much preferred seeing George Clooney and Renee Zellweger!! We need more famous people coming to town! It is fun! haha I'm a dork, I know!!
It even started raining while we were there...luckily, I had a hoodie and an umbrella, so I was covered.....sis....not so much!! haha She huddled with some new friends!! LOL I should have taken a pic of that!! She was huddled with these women that were 70+, and referred to themselves as The Hussies!! hahaa I about cracked up when I heard what the name of their group was!! Then they overheard me talking to my mom about fresh strawberries and they got excited and started talking about their strawberry pudding recipe, which I hadn't ever heard of before. Basically it is banana pudding, but w/ strawberries instead!! Sounds very yummy to me!!!
Anyway, here are the pics. My sister and I shared her camera because I decided to leave the 5d w/ its battery pack in the car. It doesn't fit very well in shootsac....that and the rain just didn't mix!! LOL

By the time Hillary arrived, it was nice again! Lucky her! She didn't have to get her shoes wet like me!! I was super relieved to have another pair of gym shoes in the car to change into, since I went to the gym afterwards! My shoes were soaked!

She must have been laughing at the Hussies in front of me! hahaha

Laura & John's E-Session

Friday, I had a lot of fun with Laura and John during their e-session. Laura told me she had been nervous about the session, but she warmed right up since I'm so fun and easy to work with! hahaha But seriously, I am!
John is a goofball, so I'm sure he helped Laura feel relaxed! LOL He had me laughing!!

I won a free shootsac cover...my brides have all seen me with my fabulous camera bag that I carry around. I have a bunch of different covers already in rotation and now I got lucky and won one!! Yay for me!! I should take a pic of all of my covers...I have like 5!

Didi & Donnie's Wedding April 19, 2008

I had so much fun shooting Didi & Donnie's wedding the other week. The weather was a bit iffy for their outside ceremony at The Lakes. I started taking pics of the girls and it started raining. We took shelter under the gazebo for a minute until it stopped raining. Then we did a few more pics and it started raining again!! The girls went inside and the guys came out. We did a few under the gazebo, because it was raining...then it stopped raining again!! We got a lot of great shots and I was trying to maximize the time!! It stopped raining for the whole ceremony, but it started back as soon as I was going to start taking more pics of the groups! haha Of course!! LOL I did manage to get them back outside to do the fun shots though!!

And here are some entertaining pics...lol These crazy geese were attacking each other right before the ceremony was beginning!! The girls were walking down the aisle and these geese were going crazy!! haha I had to snap a few!!

Sophie's 1 year session

I photographed Sophie last week. This is the last session in her baby plan! She has gotten so big! I've really enjoyed seeing her grow!!! She is so cute! I loved her new funny faces she made this time!! She is so expressive. Her new smile is so cute! She scrunches her face up and shows her gums!! It is funny!!
Here are a few of my faves!! Oh and I have a new pink background. What would a Heather Houston studio be without a pink background!! I've been missing out!! It was so perfect for little Sophie!!

Ashlyn's Bridal Session

Monday, I got to photograph Ashlyn! Her wedding is May 10th so we were definitely happy when it didn't rain! The sky was very cloudy and I really thought it would rain any minute! I actually felt a couple of raindrops as I was waiting for her to get there!!
The garden was soooo pretty! This was my first time shooting there and I was amazed at how pretty the landscaping is!!
